7th Overseas Warehouse Established in Guinea (Latest Warehouse Opening)

Oct 16,2026

The Seventh Warehouse Is Now Open

OYAQUA’s seventh overseas warehouse is now operating in Conakry, Guinea. Opened in 2026, it is the latest addition to a network that already covers Nigeria, Uganda, Senegal, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Kenya.

With Guinea in place, every market in the network holds stock locally instead of serving customers from a distant port.

Why Guinea, and Why Now

Guinea imports around 85% of its construction materials — roughly USD 1.2 billion a year, growing at close to 18%. Finishing materials, bathroom fixtures included, are about 90% imported. On the demand side, the IFC estimates a housing deficit of about 500,000 units, with roughly 47,000 new units needed each year, and Conakry among the fastest-growing cities in West Africa.

The constraint is not demand — it is access. The Port of Conakry is the country’s single entry point for imported steel, formwork and MEP equipment. Capacity is limited and clearance times vary. An importer bringing bathroom stock in container by container absorbs port delays, storage charges and currency risk on every shipment. Keeping stock inside Guinea takes that exposure out of the distributor’s business.

What the Warehouse Holds

The Conakry warehouse carries OYAQUA’s full bathroom range — shower systems, bathroom vanities, faucets and bathroom accessories — together with spare parts for the components that wear or break in service. It is run by OYAQUA’s local team in Guinea, who handle orders, delivery and after-sales support inside the market rather than from another time zone.

What Changes for Buyers in Guinea

  • Replenishment comes from local stock, not from the next container.
  • Spare parts are available in-country, so one faulty component does not stall a project.
  • Project orders can be quoted with realistic delivery dates.
  • Technical and after-sales questions are answered by people in Conakry.

One Network, Seven Markets

Guinea now runs the same model already in place in Nigeria, Uganda, Senegal, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Kenya — local stock, local teams, one standard across all seven.
